Your regular donation will be collected automatically, hassle free. You can Become a Member from as little as £5 per month. What does my donation go towards? Every donation provides crucial, additional support that is required to go above and beyond the statutory funding we receive for educational services and residential care. As a Prior’s Court Friend you will be part of a community helping to fund enriching activities, specialist resources and equipment and new opportunities that enables each young person to thrive and achieve their full potential. Projects recently supported by donors have included building a performing arts centre on-site, summer trips away, new outdoor play equipment and the staging of the Prior’s Court Annual Music Festival. Does Prior’s Court support SEND young people and children? Yes. We provide specialist education services and residential care for autistic young people from 5-25 years old. Is Prior's Court a local autism charity? Prior's Court is based near Newbury in Berkshire, but our impact extends far beyond the local area. We are ‘home’ to many autistic young people from across the UK which means support from our Friends will help autistic young people both locally and nationwide. How will my donation help an autistic young person? Every donation will make an impact. Your donation could help build a new facility, fund a first-ever trip to the beach, offer a one-on-one swimming/water awareness lesson, or simply help to buy a much-needed fidget toy. Every single donation has the potential to change a life. Why support an autism charity? For more than 25 years, our aim has been to transform the lives of autistic young people with complex needs. We are one of a handful of charities offering 365 days a year residential care and specialist education to autistic young people aged 5-25 years old. Supporting us means supporting some of the most inspiring yet vulnerable autistic young people in the country. Most are non-speaking, require 1:1 care and have four learning difficulties in addition to their autism diagnosis. Despite their challenges, they can achieve the most incredible things – like the recording of the Prior’s Court Anthem at Abbey Road Studio. Believing in their potential is why we exist and why we’d like your support. Can families or couples join together? Yes. We offer Individual, Joint, and Family membership levels, all with the same great benefits. Can I buy a gift membership? Not at the moment but it’s something we’re looking into.
