News & events May Day Bank Holiday festival experience for young people at Prior's Court Supporters of our Enriching Experiences appeal helped make our annual Let Me Shine music festival a memorable day for the young people we support. Held each May Day Bank Holiday Monday, the event brings a music festival experience directly to our grounds. Many autistic young people with complex needs are unlikely to be able to attend large public festivals. Let Me Shine is designed to change that, creating a space where they can access the experience in a way that works for them. Activities included inflatables, face painting, a circus skills workshop, a climbing wall, an animal handling experience, an ice cream van, and live music. This year’s line-up featured tribute performances inspired by Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
