Prospective parents or carers, Local Authorities and professionals are welcome to visit Prior's Court, see our provision and meet staff.

We are proud that 100% of parents would recommend Prior's Court to others. - Parent Survey - 2024/25

All young people at Prior's Court have a diagnosis of autism alongside severe learning disabilities and associated additional needs such as epilepsy, ADHD, communication and sensory processing needs.

Admissions availability status

  • SCHOOL (ages 6-19)
    • At this time we are unlikely to have any available residential placements within the next academic year 2026/27.
    • Current Year groups 11 upwards to 14 are now full with no further spaces available now or in the near future due to capacity.
    • Assessment dates until the end of the academic year are now full -  there is a long waiting list to conduct any further assessments in order to respond to referrals and consultations.
    • We are at capacity for young people who require enhanced staffing ratios above 1:1 support across all key stages. We cannot consider referrals for any young people who require 2:1 staffing.
    • There will be 3 Lower School (Years 3 - 7) day-only places from September 2026.
    • Prior's Court withdrew from the Section 41 approved schools list in December 2020.
    • Prior's Court does not provide emergency or same day placements or respite services.
  • ADULTS - The Young Adult Provision (ages 19-25)
    • As per our admissions policy we give priority to young people already placed within the school.
    • This is a 52-week CQC-registered provision with onsite ASDAN-accredited learning.
    • We do not have any external vacancies at this time for 2026/27 academic year.  There are always incredibly limited vacancies for a YAP placement and a long waiting list.

Admissions enquiries and visits

Our Open Mornings are a chance for parents and other visitors to take a look around our provision, view the facilities, meet staff and find out about available places and the admissions procedure. To minimise disruption to the young people we support, we limit the numbers on each Open Morning and therefore ask that anyone who would like to visit book a place using the details below.

We regret that we cannot accommodate children on these visits. A maximum of four visitors can be booked for each event.

To register an admissions enquiry and/or attend an Open Morning, please fill out the form below or click here.
