To help make our rural site more accessible, we offer a staff minibus transport service for our Autism Practitioners. Originally introduced for colleagues who do not drive, the service is now available to all staff - regardless of whether you own a vehicle. 

This transport option opens up the opportunity to work in our rewarding and meaningful roles supporting autistic young people with complex needs, particularly for those who might not otherwise be able to travel to our location.

Where do we provide pick-ups and drop-offs?

Our minibus service runs across a wide catchment area, collecting and returning staff before and after shifts. Locations currently served include:

• West Berkshire including Newbury, Thatcham and Theale
• Reading including Tilehurst, West Reading, Southcote, Whitley, Newtown, East Reading, Spencers Wood, Three Mile Cross and Shinfield
• Swindon including Coate, Penhill, Haydon Wick, Rodbourne, and Freshbrook
• South Oxfordshire including Cowley, Didcot, Wantage and Beedon
• North Hampshire including Overton, Brighton Hill, Popley and Rooksdown (all in Basingstoke)

Affordable and convenient

Staff members are charged per journey to and from work at a flat rate – but the cost is less than fuel costs would be, let alone the additional running costs of having a vehicle.
