Young people at Priors Court have been taking part in a special creative project this week to celebrate the life and legacy of our Founding Patron, Dame Stephanie Shirley CH.

Following Dame Stephanie's passing, each residential home on our site for the autistic young person with complex needs we support has been presented with small wooden doves for the young people to decorate in their own unique style. These doves will come together to form a collaborative artwork, honouring Dame Stephanie’s passion for art and her lasting impact on our community.

While the exact format of the final display is yet to be decided, the intention is clear – to create something meaningful, beautiful, and shared. This project not only celebrates Dame Stephanie’s extraordinary contribution to Prior's Court but also provides an opportunity for our young people to express themselves artistically in a way that is personal to them.
