Our education & residential care What young people learn Prior's Court joins other schools for an inclusive healthiness event Multiple schools have come together through the Youth Support Trust to take part in an inclusive sporting event at Brookfields School in Reading. Prior's Court signed up to the Youth Sport Trust and were put in touch with the Berkshire Special Schools group as a way of encouraging inclusivity. We attended alongside a number of other local special schools to take part in an inclusive sporting event run by Brookfields School, a specialist SEN school. The event consisted of a number of mini games, each of which were run by Brookfield's Sports Leaders. Our five young people - Daniel L, Amar, Fredi, Anton, and Ryan - all loved taking part in football, bean bag throwing, and 'Domes and Dishes'. This was the first time Prior's Court has taken part in something like this alongside other schools and its success will hopefully mean that we will take part in many more in the future. Kirk Smith, Healthiness Lead, said "The event was a huge success and it was lovely to see our guys from Prior's Court getting involved with things off site and with other schools from the area. The aim is to do more like this in the future as I feel it benefits both the young people we support and the schools we get involved with." Manage Cookie Preferences
