News & events Getting ready for World Autism Acceptance Month 2025 Prior’s Court is throwing open its gates in April as part of World Autism Acceptance Month (WAAM) 2025 with events held throughout April. This includes engaging, informative talks from the charity’s experts providing insights about topics in the autism sector, which the wider community is invited to attend. The talks being held are: Our specialist autism approach at Prior’s Court- a few fundamentals that support each autistic young person in understanding the world around them and ensure we address some of the complex needs. – Tuesday, 1 April The power of the arts in autism education – Friday, 11 April Each of these talks is free teo attend. Elsewhere during April, West Berkshire residents might see: Prior’s Court staff members hosting a pop-up stall on World Autism Acceptance Day itself (April 2), in Parkway Shopping centre Prior’s Court staff members “taking over” Newbury Parkrun on Saturday, 26th April. And four determined fundraisers will take on the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday, 6 April, to support autistic young people with complex needs at Prior's Court. How else can you help?
