Three brave runners supporting Prior's Court took on a 'Tough' challenge on Saturday, completing the 5K Tough Mudder in high winds and rain.

Alfie and Bethany, two members of Prior's Court's Marketing team, along with Alfie's partner Scarlett, took on the muddy challenge to raise money for Prior's Court's Enriching Experiences Appeal, which will help to provide activities and experiences that might not otherwise be accessible for the autistic young people with complex needs they support.

This is something that none of the group had done before, and the new experience was made all the more challenging by high winds and rain, along with icy pits, 8 foot walls, a 40 foot climbing frame, water obstacles, and a LOT of mud.

Alfie, Marketing and Communications Officer, said "It was really tough but so much fun and knowing we were doing it for the young people we support made all the scrapes and bruises worth it. We managed to complete it in two and a half hours so not the fastest 5K you've ever seen but we managed not to sustain any permanent injuries!"

The trio are almost at £1000 raised with Gift Aid, and their JustGiving page is still live if you are able to donate anything.
