News & events Make a lifelong impact in our new The Big Little Things Appeal Prior’s Court has launched a new fundraising appeal which shows how a relatively small donation can make a massive difference to the life of an autistic young person with complex needs. Young people at Prior's Court need specialist equipment to be empowered to live a fulfilling and enjoyable life. However, local authority funding for their placements at Prior’s Court does not always stretch to cover this equipment. This is why our autism experts in our Care and Education departments have compiled a list of relatively small expense items that will have a huge benefit to the young people at Prior's Court which then makes up our The Big Little Things appeal. Items such as wobble cushions, pick plates, adapted cutlery and rocker chairs will: help aid anxieties provide sensory benefits help to regulate Overall, they will make a young person's day that bit more manageable and support the learning of skills that young people can use throughout their life. And the best part is that difference made is not an one-off.
