News & events Prior’s Court staff complete Thames Path trek for the Big Little Things Appeal Two members of the Prior’s Court Marketing team laced up their walking boots to take on a riverside challenge in support of our Big Little Things Appeal. On Sunday, 26 October, Marketing & Communications Manager Dan and Events & Community Engagement Officer Kayleigh completed a 21km circular route along the Thames Path Hiking Trail. The pair took on the challenge to raise funds for our Big Little Things Appeal, which helps to provide those little things that make a big difference to the lives of autistic young people with complex needs at Prior’s Court. The pair finished the challenge in just under four hours. Speaking about the challenge, Dan said: “It was a fantastic day – tough at points, but knowing we were walking for such a worthwhile cause kept us going. The Big Little Things Appeal is all about making everyday life that bit brighter for the young people we support, and it’s been great to contribute towards that.” Donate to Dan's fundraiser Kayleigh added: “We’re so grateful for everyone who’s supported us so far. Every donation, big or small, really does make a difference.” Donate to Kayleigh's fundraiser The Big Little Things Appeal funds small but meaningful additions to life at Prior’s Court – from sensory resources and adapted equipment to outdoor furniture and wellbeing items – all of which play an important role in supporting autistic young people at Prior's Court to thrive. This challenge followed on from the remaining two members of the Prior's Court Marketing team - Alfie and Bethany - completing Tough Mudder West Sussex event in September.
