Prior’s Court will host two free knowledge-sharing webinars this spring, offering practical advice and guidance to help professionals better support autistic pupils and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in school.

The online sessions are part of Prior’s Court’s ongoing commitment to sharing specialist expertise with the wider education community. With increasing attention on how schools can meet the needs of pupils with complex SEND, the webinars aim to provide accessible, evidence-informed strategies that can be implemented in everyday classroom practice. The first session, Autism at School: Top Structure Tips to Help Make the World Make Sense, will focus on the importance of structure in supporting autistic learners. The webinar will explore how clear routines, predictable environments and visual supports can help reduce anxiety and enable pupils to better understand expectations throughout the school day.

Participants will gain practical tips on creating structured learning environments that support communication, independence and engagement for autistic children.

The second webinar, Navigating a Sensory World: Supporting Autistic Children in School, will explore how sensory differences affect many autistic pupils and how schools can adapt environments and approaches to improve comfort, focus and learning outcomes.

The session will share strategies for recognising sensory needs, making reasonable adjustments within the classroom, and helping pupils manage sensory experiences that may otherwise become overwhelming.

Together, the webinars aim to equip teachers, SEND professionals, school leaders and parents with tools to support autistic children more effectively, while promoting inclusive practice across education settings.
