The standards of food hygiene within four of our residential homes have been praised.

The Seasons – a block of four residential homes for the autistic young people with complex needs we support – had an unannounced food standards inspection on Monday, 16 December.

The visit by West Berkshire and Bracknell Forest Public Protection Partnership was hugely complementary with praise for hygiene standards, regular compliance checks and good conditions observed across each home’s kitchen.

This all resulted in a rating of 5 out of 5 from the inspector.

Lynsey Preston, our Director of Safeguarding and Health & Safety, said: “Thanks to the efforts of the staffing teams in The Seasons, this unannounced visit went incredibly well. Which goes to show the high standards of food hygiene that are maintained day in, day out, within the homes.”

This follows on from one of our Young Adult Provision houses, Charlotte House, and the main kitchen on our main site being graded as 5 out of 5 when they each had unannounced visits in November.

Lynsey added: “Congratulations to the teams involved in all of these fantastic inspection reports.”
