10 volunteers from CarneySweeney, one of our charity partners, came to Prior's Court and donated around 40 hours of their combined time to make our site safer and more engaging for the young people who live here.

They tackled two very different tasks while they were here, the first of which being assembling and checking over a number of gazebos that had been located in various different places around site. Assembling them and ensuring they are functional means that we will be able to use them for our upcoming 25th anniversary event taking place on Monday, 5th May.

In the afternoon, the team broke out the edgers and spades and continued the fantastic work of the last volunteering group, removing the top soil and turning over the soil underneath to make space for an area that will soon be planted with fruit trees and bushes. The young people we support will then be tasked with the responsibility of looking after these trees and bushes, teaching them a further work skill.

We are hugely grateful for all of CarneySweeney's support over the last year, both at Prior's Court and outside of it.
