Downe House school students were hard at work on our beautiful West Berkshire site on a beautiful autumn afternoon on Saturday, 5 October.

Two of our Fundraising team were joined by 20 students and two members of staff from the school in nearby Hermitage with the group getting done to work in our Countryside Learning Centre (CLC) which provides a farm-style learning environment for the autistic young people with complex needs we support.

The group were busy strimming, mowing and weeding with three bags of thistles collected from the CLC classroom garden, the entire goat paddock being trimmed, fallen leaves cleared from paths and the nature trail being mowed - an amazing afternoon's work!

The group were also given a tour of our 50-acre site to learn more about our work.
