Support us Corporate and community support Edwards put their DIY skills to the test building a new trampoline A determined group of four from Edwards Lifesciences came to Prior's Court earlier in the week to complete a half day of volunteering. They worked incredibly hard in that time, even foregoing their tea break to get a new trampoline installed in our off-site residential home in the nearby village of Hermitage. With instructions that proved to be a little difficult to follow, the group also utilised their problem solving skills to make sure the trampoline was installed correctly and safely, even going back and redoing a couple of steps! The trampoline that these amazing volunteers were building was completely fundraised for, with a huge thanks to Barney and Brooke who completed the Paris Marathon to raise money for this trampoline and a swing which will be installed at a later date. These pieces of equipment, while being fun, also provides the young autistic people we support with equipment that will help with sensory and emotional regulation. As always, a huge thank you to Edwards for completing this amazing task, and no doubt the trampoline will be used on a regular basis.
