Corporate supporters from Kärcher UK  have now been through "Hellevelyn and high water" this year in their fundraising efforts in support of autistic young people with complex needs.

After Kärcher UK's online sales team took on a climb up Helvellyn mountain, in the Lake District, over the summer, the company's retail sales team took on a 15-mile walk challenge which was complicated by the fact around a third of the route was completely flooded.

However, this did not deter the intrepid team who still managed to complete the walk, despite the floodwater being up to their knees at times. And, to top it off, they've also passed their £700 fundraising target.

David Ayers, from the Kärcher UK retail sales team, said: "Thankfully it wasn't raining and the sun was shining for us.

"Despite the conditions, we had a lot of fun and it was great for the team to be able to raise some money to support projects at Prior's Court."

The team were raising funds for our Fun and Recreation appeal.

Our Fun and Recreation appeal is about bringing events to the Prior's Court site for the young people we support - such as Easter Egg hunts, summer fairgrounds, fireworks displays, and Christmas Carol Concerts.
