News & events Getting the theatre space looking like a theatre The main performance space of the Performing Arts Centre is now looking more like a theatre space with the addition of theatre-style seating in recent weeks. The seats are completely retractable and moveable so the room can be laid out in whichever way is needed. This means young people's individual needs can be catered for and so supports our approach to learning into making each session a success. And doesn't the outdoor learning area look splendid in the sunlight?! This also shows the fencing around the building has come down so young people can explore the outdoor learning area. The inside of the building is still closed off as the final stages of the interior fit-out take place. We’re looking to get the autistic young people with complex needs we support into the building to begin using the building next month. Plans are also being developed for a grand opening in the summer. Manage Cookie Preferences
