Armed with their own professional equipment, the team of seven Kärcher volunteers carried out a deep clean of our swimming pool area - scrubbing tiles, steam-cleaning grout, and refreshing the walls and changing rooms. The result is a cleaner, more welcoming space for the autistic young people who use the pool regularly as part of their daily routines.

The young people we support use the swimming pool as both a sensory space and a calming environment to learn water safety, so Kärcher's hard work will have a huge positive impact on every young person who accesses that space. Their work will allow young people like Oliver, who recently hit a major milestone in his swimming progress, continue to gain confidence and thrive in the water.

We’re incredibly grateful not just for this visit, but for Kärcher’s continued partnership with us. At the end of 2023, they donated a huge £30K worth of cleaning equipment which has been used daily to keep the entire site clean, as well as returning again and again for volunteering days. We’re incredibly grateful to the Kärcher team for their hard work and generosity. It’s support like this that helps us maintain the high-quality spaces our young people deserve.
