News & events Pub's sausage and cider festival supports autistic young people with complex needs The Fox and Hounds pub in Donnington, Newbury, raised an incredible £520 to support autistic young people with complex needs at Prior's Court through its annual Cider and Sausage Festival, held on Sunday, 24 August. The community event brought people together to enjoy live music, a variety of ciders, and – as the name suggests – plenty of sausages. The atmosphere was full of energy and good spirits, with guests gathering to make the most of the sunshine and entertainment. The funds raised, which came about through a raffle with the pub's clients and suppliers donating items, will support our Big Little Things appeal. The Fox and Hounds team have chosen fellow special schools Mary Hare and The Castle School in the past and this year opted to support Prior's Court. We are so grateful to the Fox and Hounds team for choosing to support us, and to everyone who attended and gave so generously.
