Support us Our appeals Sebby and Helena enjoy a day at Chessington World of Adventures Two autistic young people with complex needs, Sebby and Helena, recently enjoyed a day out at Chessington World of Adventures, supported by their dedicated staff team. Staff had been carefully planning the theme park visit for some time, ensuring the day would be as enjoyable for both Sebby and Helena as possible. On Tuesday, 3rd June, those plans were put into action. With support from the their fantastic staff members, Sebby and Helena explored the park, experiencing a range of rides, meeting animals at the zoo, and enjoying the Paw Patrol show. Although both young people have had varied experiences with theme parks in the past, the positive, structured support they received helped make this visit a huge success. It is thanks to the dedicated staff members we have at Prior's Court that Sebby and Helena were able to experience something like this and remain calm and happy throughout the day. The preparation and patience that goes into a trip like this cannot be understated and hopefully this will open the door for new and exciting experiences like this in the future. We’re proud of what Sebby and Helena achieved, and it's moments like these which reflect what Prior’s Court is all about – supporting autistic young people with complex needs to lead rich, fulfilling lives and celebrating every success, big or small.
