Support us Corporate and community support Small but mighty group from Tanium get destructive This week, a small but enthusiastic volunteer group from Tanium were on site tackling a number of destructive tasks which will make site safer and more accessible for the young autistic people with complex needs that we support. The group of 4 started the day by removing some of the overgrown and incredibly dense bushes near the school. Because of their age, they are dense enough to climb on, so removing them was an important step in keeping our site safe. They made an incredible start in clearing a large area, not only clearing the bush itself but making sure any left over branches too thick to cut were low enough so as not to pose a trip hazard. The afternoon consisted of getting muddy in the muck heap in our Countryside Learning Centre (which was more fun than it sounds!) removing dividing sleepers which were becoming a barrier to learning for our young people. They also displayed some incredible strength and determination, removing two concrete pillars from the same area! We are incredibly grateful to Tanium for their time, energy, and teamwork. It was a pleasure to have you on site, and we hope to welcome you back again soon! See what our other corporate partners have done to support our work Interested in getting involved?
