Support us Corporate and community support Tanium volunteers clear the way for a new Scout hut and fruit trees A small group of five volunteers from Tanium came to Prior's Court on Thursday, 20 March to volunteer their time and energy making the site more practical and accessible for our autistic young people with complex needs. They took on two significant jobs, moving therapy items out of an old therapy hut and into a new room in order to clear the way for the hut to be used for the 2nd Chieveley Scouts group. They absolutely smashed this task even with some unexpected hindrances, building six sets of shelves and arranging a lot of equipment onto them. See what our other corporate partners have done to support our work In the afternoon they were also able to get outside in the sunshine and begin creating a new patch of turf in our orchard which will be used to plant more fruit trees and bushes. This was back breaking work and it resulted in a huge pile of turf but it is going to clear the way for some additional responsibilities and upskilling opportunities for our young people.
