An Edwards Lifesciences team didn't make like a tree and leaf when they saw the scale of the task in front of them on their volunteer visit on Wednesday, 30 October.

Instead, the team off 11 rolled their sleeves up and got stuck into to clear around 30 tonne bags of leaves from across our site.

Having a 50-acre rural site for the autistic young people with complex needs in our care is wonderful and crucial to our approach - but the site does take a lot of keeping tidy and therefore safe.

And that's why the team's leaf-clearing today was so important - and hopefully it was a bit of fun too!

What's more, their roughly 38.5 hours of work on their volunteering is the equivalent of a working week for one of our hard-working Grounds staff. Thank you so much for your support today, team!
