After several weeks and a number of different volunteer groups, the huge hedge-clearing project has been completed by a wonderful group of volunteers from Vodafone

The group of 8 tackled the last of the hedges from around the school and Bakery area, removing the old and overgrown hedges which were becoming dense enough that the young people were able to climb on them, becoming a safety risk. The area will be re-planted once the last of the existing stumps are removed with smaller, looser growing hedges which have been donated by our wonderful supporters.

After countless tonne bags filled, countless trips to the yard, several tractor loads, and many sore muscles, this area is now more open and airy, making transitions easier for the young people we support and making the environment they live in far safer.

Thank you Vodafone and thank you to each group who has helped with this monumental task.
